The in between time......

Ruling The World

This Guy!

This guy sits on the side of the pavement on Johannesburg’s Empire Road and reads books, he then reviews the authors and the publishers for the public. He then sells some of those books so he can get a decent meal. Instead of begging for cash he reviews and sells books to the public in exchange for donations. He can also tell you how he got out of a heavy drug addiction by purely reading self help books. His favourite author is John Grisham because "He touches on social justice and I think that's the one thing lacking in the world". With so many odds stacked against him, he always rises above. He wakes up every morning either on the side of the pavement, a home or a temporary flat if he raises enough money and does what he can with what he has.

Danielle Steels - Love notes

Hi Everyone, We have exciting news. After two-and-a-half years of hard work, long preparation, and a learning and artistic process that has been fascinating,... the album of songs I wrote the lyrics for (with three French composers) is finally out. It's called "Love Notes by Danielle Steel” and is available both online and in stores on CD. It was a team effort among me, the three composers, four arrangers, seven musicians, and two singers, a man and a woman. Each song tells a story—about new love, surviving hard times, recovering from a lost love, or finally finding real love, and there is even a song about my late son Nick called "Why?" We're all really excited about this album, and I hope you will be too when you hear it. Six of the songs are in English, and four are in French, and the voices and music are great. And I really hope you love the lyrics that I wrote. If you like my books, I think you'll like the album. Have a great time listening!!! https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/love-notes-by-danielle-steel/id734080554?ls=1

Travel bug.

I'm going on a cruise this coming May and I'm super excited. I'm stopping at three amazing places and its all I can think about. Noumea in New Caledonia is our first stop which I can't wait for. This French speaking country is a real drawcard for me because I love the French language and France and French people. Lafou in the Loyalty Islands is next on the list where I plan to snorkel in Janek Bay and then onto Vanuatu where I will be enjoying local life and I plan on paying a visit to the only underwater post office in the world!

However due to my new travelling bug I'm already thinking about where I could go next. I know, just focus on this exciting upcoming trip, but my mind is defiantly wandering. I should also mention that I have a trip planned to Japan to visit one of my best friends Rhea who has just landed a job as Alice in Wonderland and Tinkerbell at Disneyland in Tokyo in October next year for a week. I can't wait to eat the food and look around and just soak up all the Japaneseiness!

So anyway back to what I am planning next. I have a main option and then a list of maybe/ alternatives.

1. America.

Where is will visit Hawaii, LA, Miami, New York, and Tenessee. ( my sister lives in Nashville) The trip is for 1 month.

Or the list....

Bora Bora, France, Italy, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Norfolk Island, Greece, Canada, India

Hmmmm decisions decisions

A week in the life of Tara

I sometimes give you a little look inside my life and what I'm getting up too, so this is what that is!

Obviously I'm doing lots of writing, as previously mentioned I am working on a Ghostwriting project for a client. This has been my main focus for the last few months. It is going really well, but I have a sore hand because I hand write everything. Yes that's right, I write my books the old school way. You can't beat a pen and paper, I am way more creative this way but it makes all the typing a bitch!

I'm currently a third of the way through a Danielle Steel book called The Ranch - so I'll be reading mor of that.

I'm organising my Thanksgiving dinner party that I am hosting at my house - Yum ... Bring on Friday!

Cooking a turkey for 8 hours (do I have to monitor in for 8 hours - I have no idea)

I'm doing some promo work for Gold Digger. And if you didn't already know that I'd written a book and its being published, you do now! You can purchase a copy at my author website.

Writing lists of lists for Christmas (I'm an avid list maker ) I write lists for everything.

I'm going to my best friends sisters baby shower.

I'm going to the beach on Sunday for a swim.

Your welcome!

Wedding night woes......

Only too clearly she imagined herself kneeling at the bottom of the marriage bed being unbuttoned by her mother and Tess while Ian waited outside with a hard-on straining the front of his best suit trousers.

I am an author!

I've written a book and its being published!!
Yes, that's right, not only am I a successful blogger, avid reader and Indy movie aficionado, as well as a highly entertaining G+er who uploads crazy pics, links and posts daily, and someone who has a documented high heel fetish,  I am an author.
The book is called Gold Digger - a chic lit/contemporary romance novel that I have no doubt you or someone you know or have seen roaming the streets of your town, city or island will enjoy.

The perils of working from home....

You'd think working from home would be the best thing ever - you don't have anyone to answer too, you get to have a break whenever you want, you get to wear what you want. Yeah all that seems great until you get demotivated, lonely and distracted by housework, painting your nails and television. Not to mention that everyone you know thinks you're just sitting around twiddling your thumbs and can go out and do whatever you want whenever you want. Or they just pop in because surely your not that busy!
I love being a writer but this stay at home thing is starting to wear thin. I want an office to go out too - something to dress up for and people to talk to! I'm sure though that that too would become common place and I would tire of the routine. I think I just need a holiday and some money and a big fluffy cocktail whilst laying in a hammock?

Beautiful Agony - what face do you make when you cum?

I follow a blog called In Bed with Married women - its super cool and the author Jill discusses a lot of taboo subjects that really gets you thinking. You may or may not have seen the one about women having to bleach there assholes to fit in to the stereotype of what men want women's bum holes to look like - you can find it in my archives if you want to check it out!

The latest titled  On Orgasm and Beautiful Agony was a very interesting read about a website called Beautiful Agony, and prompted me to click the links and check it out and I wasn't disappointed.

Here is an exert from her blog post and a link to the page where you can witness the faces of people orgasming.

The site Beautiful Agony exists in a space somewhere between art and porn. It's a collection of short films featuring close ups of people's faces as they pleasure themselves, falling into, then through orgasm. It's a celebration of la petite mort* and it's...beautiful. (It's a pay site, but there are some free samples.)

Explain the Beautiful Agonistas on the project's inspiration:

Beautiful Agony began as a multimedia experiment, to test a hypothesis that eroticism in human imagery rests not in naked flesh and sexual illustration, but engagement with the face. We wondered whether film of a genuine, unscripted, natural orgasm - showing only the face - could succeed where the most visceral mainstream pornography fails, and that is, to actually turn us on.

Considering porn has had a few thousand years to evolve, alongside other streams of culture - you'd expect it to be refined and sophisticated. Yet instead of developing in sophistication and nuance, it has become a brutal and charmless rendering of human sexuality. It's like the people who make it, don't really understand it.

What's also interesting to me about these faces contorted in orgasm is the realization that orgasm does come with a bit of agony. If you didn't know the experience yourself, to see someone moaning and grimacing in orgasm's throes would look, well, you probably would not want to "have what they're having."

The experience of going toward and riding the throbs of orgasm is so outside the realm of our other experiences. I mean, what other thing gets us to this place, this place of grunting and sounds and slick liquids and sweet strokes leading to the deliciously inevitable?  It's so animal and primal and raw and very vulnerable.

Which brings me to this. Beautiful Agony will pay you $200 for an accepted submission. There are qualifications--you need a decent camera, you have to answer some questions and whatnot--but I wonder how many among us would do it. I could see doing it. The arty veneer makes it seem less porny and I like the idea of contributing real sexual experience to the well of collective sexual consciousness. Plus, hey, 200 bucks.

On the other hand, maybe 200 bucks is not nearly enough for the...gift, I guess is the right word, of something so incredibly personal. I think what makes sex so intimate is not the actual nudity but the sort of metaphorical nudity of letting someone see and hear and feel and smell and taste you as you come. When women have an orgasm, portions of their brain controlling anxiety and alertness go dark.  So to let someone be present with you and for you when you're in that space--bearing witness, as the Quakers say, though certainly regarding other things entirely--is a huge gift of trust.

In a nice twist, the primitive, earthy rutting of bodies, flesh and fluids, leads us to a state of transcendence somehow both grounded in and sublimely beyond the physical. Which is pretty fucking beautiful. (Thanks, life!)  To be able to jump into this void while grasping onto the back or ass of someone else, well, it's a bit of magic, really.

You know what annoys me????

I'm in a really 'you know what annoys me mood!' I was just on Facebook and its all like 'Work hard for your Dreams and make them Crazy Realities' and other (UN) inspiring  things that on Monday morning just  makes me want to punch them in the face! I mean seriously, we all just want to be back in bed - that sort of stuff needs to come later in the week (or not at all) when we all wake up, and even then I'm still all like shut the hell up! I tend to unfriend people when they post a lot of inspiring shit not because I am so negative it just gets old - if I wanted to be inspired I would go looking for my own inspiration!

That being said I have compiled a list of shit that annoys me - it is def not a complete list just a few things that came to mind on this awesome Monday morning......

those chirpy little birds that sit outside your window when you are sleeping, idiot drivers, the people who make spray cheese, (even though its not available in Australia) your face, having no socks, MONDAYS, now, then, fumes from jackass's cars when they rev them, dickheads who mow their lawn at 7am on Sundays, people that think they are all cool and inspiring when they are fucking not - they are wannabe trendy people that do anything they can to be portrayed as that - like look at me I make cool handmade cards and I wear stuff from opp shops and cool music T's and weird shoes and hang at really cool places (YOU ARE A FUCKHEAD) you cant become it because it looks cool, you either are or you aren't jackwagon - and believe me you are not, nor will you ever be - keep trying....... , narcissists, people who don't like animals, people who whinge when you make them a sandwich by saying you didn't make it to their exact requirements, baths that go cold before you are ready to get out, the reflection in the TV when you are trying to watch a movie, my car, and dirty feet! I could go on and on but I wont.........

A Note from Danielle Steel

Dear Friends,This month, we all start gearing up for the holidays—and I’m one of those people who start holiday shopping early! My family enjoys Thanksgiving and always tries to include friends at our table. The holidays are hard for lots of people, and not everyone has family to be with—it seems an important holiday to share, and to be grateful for all the good things, good moments, and good people in our lives, even if things aren’t exactly as we wish they were. And it’s always nice to share a great meal with friends.I hope your Thanksgiving will be blessed, and warm and loving.

Love,Danielle Steel -

What is a writer?

Do you really know what a writer is? For those who have no idea what I do or what a writer even is I have thoughtfully provided a definition for you. You're Welcome!

A writer is a person who uses written words in various styles and techniques to communicate ideas. Writers produce various forms of literary art and creative writing such as novels, short stories, poetry, plays, news articles, screenplays, or essays. Skilled writers are able to use language to express ideas and their work contributes significantly to the cultural content of a society.[1] The word is also used elsewhere in the arts – such as songwriter – but as a standalone term, "writer" normally refers to the creation of written language.
Writers can produce material across a number of genres, fictional or non-fictional. Other writers use multiple media – for example, graphics or illustration – to enhance the communication of their ideas. Another recent demand has been created by civil and government readers for the work of non-fictional technical writers, whose skills create understandable, interpretive documents of a practical or scientific nature. Some writers may use images (drawing, painting, graphics) or multimedia to augment their writing. In rare instances, a creative writer is able to communicate their ideas via music as well as words.[2]
As well as producing their own written works, writers often write on how they write (that is, the process they use);[3]why they write (that is, their motivation);[4] and also comment on the work of other writers (criticism).[5] Writers work professionally or non-professionally, that is, for payment or without payment and may be paid either in advance (or on acceptance), or only after their work is published. Payment is only one of the motivations of writers and many are never paid for their work.
The term writer is often used as a synonym of author, although the latter term has a somewhat broader meaning and is used to convey legal responsibility for a piece of writing, even if its composition is anonymous, unknown or collaborative.

This is my favourite show - I absolutely love it  - if you haven't checked it out and like something a little different you should definitely give it a go! I am waiting patient  (impatiently) for season three! Two months to go and counting down........

These boots were made for writing......

I love dressing up in all my heels - you can do just about anything in a really great pair of shoes. Writing, dancing, cooking, drinking, packing the dishwasher.....
Why is there so much crap on TV?
I know - why am I even watching it! Sometime I need a break from all the reading and writing, and TV seems like a good option until I actually turn it on and realise the error of my ways. Daytime TV in OZ is fucking pathetic - deadest, reruns of shows from 20 years ago should be seriously archived.

If I were in control there would be so much good stuff on that people wouldn't know which program to choose instead of settling on something just so there is noise in the background. The monopoly on free to air TV by a few old codgers should be a thing of the past.

Reading shit

The last two books I have read have been so fucking boring they should have been binned - I couldn't however do that because A - one of them was a library book and B - I don't throw the written word away - it's just my thing! But believe me they totally deserved it !!!!!!

I have said it before and I will say it again - there are truly talented writers out there that can't get published and its beyond me why not because it seems as though they publish a lot of shit! Get it together publishing houses and maybe hire a few younger people to make some of  the big decisions and maybe we would be able to read something worth our time instead of the trash that is being pumped out!

Rant over!!!

Weekend over

I am so glad the weekend is over!

I have had the shitest weekend is as long as I can remember! I'm cooking a Guinness stew so hopefully that makes up for the shit I have put up with - I won't even go into the crap I have listened too or the things that were said to me - the blood I have cleaned up from a small accident someone had, and the storm coming over when I was trying to sun bake today! Last night was so fucking  boring - I just couldn't find anything to entertain me despite having plenty of things at my disposal! Just one of those weekends I guess!

Good fucking riddance !

So much writing

This blog post is to give you an update on my writing career!
I have been working on a lot of different projects over the last few months and it has been a bit hectic to tell you the truth! I've actually had to turn a few jobs down because there is not enough hours in the day.

I am currently working on a ghostwriting project for a novel, it is going really well but I have a sore hand from writing so much.

I have been doing some freelance articles on many different topics.

I am getting a book published and have been doing some editing so it can go to print.

I would write more but I'm on my phone and my eyes are going blurry!

All about the book

Reaching your full potential!~

Life and other Dryer related issues...

I follow a few funny people on Facebook - One in particular caught my attention today because I have been living through the exact same scenario (well not exactly the same because I am me and she is.... well her) and instead of having to write a similar version of the same story I just copy and pasted that shit into my blog and am sharing it so you know what's going down in my life.
I would also like to point out that my washing machine has also shite itself, and I am washing all clothes, towels and the like in my bath like an old school washing lady, but I am minus that ring out thingy that squeezes all the excess water out of said washing making it a hell of a lot easier to hang clothes on the line - so instead I am hand squeezing them and trying to haul basket of washing that could be mistaken for basket of bricks out to line and fishing them out of pool of own water to hang on to dry for 3 days.
Here is the beginning to the story above in someone else's words but its my life (and hers I guess)
My fucking dryer is broken. The heating element went out on it and I'm now stuck with two huge loads of damp, mouldering laundry, and piles of dirty shit still to wash.

After making this discovery, I cried a little, but Mr. Tip said not to worry--he'd get someone out to fix it. (Translation: he might one day manage to convince an old electrician pal from 'back in the day' to drive out here and tell us that we need to pay an actual dryer repairman to fix that shit, after drinking some beer and reminiscing about old times that I give zero fucks about reliving). So I cried a LOT.

Me. Tip rolled his eyes, then watched a random YouTube video about how to replace the damn thing. He now knows in his heart of hearts that he can successfully execute this procedure. After all, he has (along with 16 other viewers) officially SEEN a nanda-fuck with similar appliance repair prowess rock it out....

Odds are good that JTT will be purchasing a brand spanking new dryer after this fun little do-it-yourself project. I only hope that I do not perish in a dryer-related house fire beforehand.

ZFG Tippers. One way or another I WILL have dry fucking towels tomorrow.

Girly night

Been hanging with my girl Jess, doing lots of Girly stuff - because that's what girls do!

What do girls do when they are together? What are these girly things you speak of? Well girls do a lot of different things when they are alone i.e. without men - but that's a whole other blog post- But, on this particular occasion, we did a Mineral Face mask from the Body Shop which involves massaging a thick white cream all over your face whose ingredients are activated and start to warm up the more you rub them. As you can  imagine this is amazing for your skin. After waiting the designated 10 minutes for mask to have maximum effect we rinsed entire mask off under warm running water and patted our faces dry wih a soft fluffy white towel, which was  followed by a vitamin C moisturiser that seriously makes your skin feel like silk! I swear my skin felt so clean and fresh it wasn't even funny!
About half an hour later, Jess did an eyelash and eyebrow tint on me - totally fabulous, and then she did my makeup, including individual fake eyelashes and lastly she straightened my hair and then curled it and braided and pinned it into a really cool style.

No I'm not going out anywhere, nor do I have plans to go somewhere in the immediate future, we just thought it would be fun to play around with some beauty stuff seen as how Jess is a beauty therapist and had her whole kit in the car!  I did take some photos (of my make up an hair)  but due to taking pics in a location with things in the background that I don't want to put on my blog - I can't show you. - I know totally intriguing - why not take more you ask - I can't be bothered! Yes I'm mean - but what can you do? I may try and edit them at a later date but I'm not making any promises!

Yes, so that's what Girly girls do for fun when there isn't much happening and we want to entertain ourselves - I can't make this stuff up - it's happening even as we speak all over the world, and then just like us they are now eating snacky foods and watching movies! Jess and I in particular have selected The Internship, followed by some movie about being 40 and then some other movie where two people swap locations on a house swap website thingy - should be some fantastic watching!
Have a fun night - peace out!
